AGI Denim Strengthens its Position as the Leader in PCW Recycling

After becoming the first denim mill in Pakistan to receive the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certification for its Post-Consumer Waste (PCW) Recycling Plant, Artistic Fabric & Garment Industries (AGI Denim) is proud to announce that this facility has now been approved by a leading European retailer.

By converting old jeans into new, using world class technology, we maintain our passion for quality, and commitment to sustainability. AGI Denim’s GRS certified facility is the first one in the country to be approved as a sorting and shredding unit by this retailer. This PCW sorting unit, segregates the waste (bought from an approved source that receives used garments from various charity organizations) and sanitizes it; the result – the ability to convert old jeans into new jeans. At AGI Denim, we are a unique hybrid: a global leader in denim production, which takes its responsibility for a sustainable environment seriously.
